RESERVATION POLICIES

Payment

A non-refundable deposit equal to one night’s room + tax is required at time of booking. The remaining amount is due 7 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

The initial deposit is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within 7 days of your confirmed arrival, the full payment will be non-refundable.

Rates & Occupancy

Each room at the Henrie House accommodates a maximum of two (2) persons. Nightly rates are subject to a 6% Hotel Occupancy Tax (Davidson County), 2.25% Sales Tax (Davidson County), 7% State Sales Tax (Tennessee), and $2.50 Nightly Hotel Privilege Tax (Davidson County) which will be added to the room rate and may change without notice.

Children under the age of 8 are not permitted to stay at the Henrie House.

Modifying Your Reservation

Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change and/or additional taxes.

Insurance

Guest agrees that Host is not responsible for any loss or damage during the term of the Booking Agreement. Guest agrees to carry insurance covering all of their personal property located in the house or bear full responsibility for its damage including damage from fire, water, theft, or any cause.

Accessibility

Due to its historic nature, the Henrie House is not ADA accessible. In addition to steps leading into the home, all bedrooms are on the second level and are accessed only by staircase.

Pets

At this time, pets are not permitted at Henrie House.

Check-in / Check-out Times

Check-in begins at 4:00pm daily. Checkout time is 11:00am. Early arrival is based on availability and may require an additional fee.

Smoking and Candles

Lighting candles, smoking (including e-cigarettes), or vaping are not permitted in the home and will incur a $250 fee.

Guest Responsibility

Guest is responsible and liable for their own acts and omissions and also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone Guest invites to join or provides access to the home. If Guest is booking for an additional guest who is a minor, Guest must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is solely responsible for the supervision of that minor.

Catastrophic Events & Emergency Evacuations

If a catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, etc.) or any situation beyond Host’s control impairs the booking, Guest will receive a full refund and Host is not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the renter or for the renter’s financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging.

House Policies

No parties, events, or productions are permitted without prior approval. Evidence of any such occurrence will result in an immediate eviction and termination of the booking, without refund.

Should Guest breach any of the terms of this Agreement, Guest shall be liable for all costs, damages and expenses incurred including reasonable attorney’s fees.
